Un peu moins de la moitié des 260 notes conceptuelles attendues ont été soumises en 2014 dans le cadre du nouveau modèle de financement, soit 58% du total des financements alloués.

Dans son premier rapport de 2015 sur le nouveau modèle de financement (NMF), et finalement le dernier rapport portant spécifiquement sur le déploiement du NMF, le Fonds mondial jette un regard rétrospectif sur les résultats de ce mécanisme mécanisme visant à diriger la plupart de ses financements vers les pays les plus touchés par la maladie et les moins à même de payer.

Georgia is planning to submit its HIV concept note on 20 April, in Window 6, and its TB note in Window 7 on 15 July. In anticipation, the country coordinating mechanism has scheduled a series of civil society and stakeholder forums for consultation, in order to identify priority areas and high-impact activities that will help the country overcome its concentrated epidemics.

In its first update on the new funding model (NFM) for 2015, and ultimately the last stand-alone update it will provide, the Global Fund offered a look back at the  roll-out of the mechanism aiming to direct the greatest resources to those countries with the highest disease burden and least ability to pay.
