Aidspan, independent watchdog of the Global Fund and publisher of GFO, seeks applicants for three newly-established positions: Senior Research Officer, Senior Editor, and Editor/Writer. All three positions are based at the Aidspan office in Nairobi. The closing date for applications for all three positions is 25 January 2012. The Senior Research Officer will support, and partially lead, a new programme of research and analysis designed to make Aidspan the world's foremost repository of knowledge about the Global Fund. Applicants must have a history of high-quality research publications in the field of international health, and superb analytical and writing skills.
The Senior Editor will lead Aidspan's production of news, analysis, commentary, guides and reports on the Global Fund, and will become Editor of GFO. Applicants must have superb analytical, writing, editing and mentoring skills, backed by a proven track record of articles and reports that are clear and free of jargon. Knowledge of international health issues is preferred but not required.
The Editor/Writer, who will report to the Senior Editor, must have credentials of a similar nature, and will increasingly take the lead on various projects.
