ABSTRACT Three new resources are available for people who are developing Round 11 TB proposals or implementing TB grants.
The Stop TB Partnership has launched an email-based Round 11 hotline at GFR11TBHelp@who.int. Staff from the Stop TB Partnership Secretariat and the WHO Stop TB Department are ready to answer questions that come up during development of TB proposals. The hotline will function until 15 December, the deadline for proposal submission. Further details are available here.
The Stop TB Partnership, the World Health Organization and the Global Fund have jointly published “Priorities in Operational Research to Improve Tuberculosis Care and Control.” The document, available here, seeks to shed new light on how TB policies and practices can be improved and how new tools for TB can be introduced in ways that deliver maximum benefits.
The Stop TB Partnership, the World Health Organization and the TB Technical Assistance Mechanism (TBTEAM) have jointly released “Guidance to Develop Global Fund Round 11 Proposal for Tuberculosis Control.” The document, which can be downloaded here, provides guidance on, among other things, issues specific to submission of a TB proposal, and minimum requirements with respect to what should be included in the proposal. A French-language version is in the works.
