ABSTRACT The Technical Evaluation Reference Group, an independent advisory body accountable to the Global Fund Board through its Strategy Committee, is looking for new members to replace those who are outgoing.

The Technical Evaluation Reference Group (TERG) is currently looking for multiple, senior, accomplished evaluators with significant relevant expertise and experience (at least 15–20 years) to replace out-going members.

The TERG is an independent evaluation advisory group, accountable to the Global Fund Board through its Strategy Committee for overseeing and carrying out independent evaluations of the Global Fund business model, investments and impact.

Interested persons are asked to complete an expression of interest form. To ensure that potential candidates are fully informed of the role and expectations of TERG membership, the Global Fund suggests that interested persons read the TERG Terms of Reference and the TERG Recruitment Strategy. Both documents, as well as the expression of interest form, are available here.

Experts from implementing countries are particularly encouraged to express an interest in serving on the TERG to ensure geographical balance. Potential candidates should particularly note that membership on the TERG requires serious time commitment and participation.

According to its terms of reference, the TERG consists of 19 persons. Members of the TERG normally serve for a period of three years, and shall be eligible to serve not more than two consecutive terms, or six years.

Completed expression of interest forms together with an up-to-date CV should be sent to TERG2@theglobalfund.org by midnight 17 January 2018 (Geneva time). Potential candidates may be contacted for a telephone consultation to be held in mid-February.
